Dagger is the fast skirmisher route. It rewards players who are comfortable entering danger range, taking short punish windows, and leaving before the enemy response lands.
Role
Short range, quick attacks, and thrown blade options. The weapon should feel active and mobile, but it does not give shield safety. If your spacing is sloppy, Dagger will make that obvious quickly.
Combat loop
Step in, hit often, spend SP during reliable openings, and step out before the enemy counter. Thrown blades can help when closing distance is unsafe, but they are a tool, not a replacement for positioning.
Partner fit
Bring partners who can draw pressure, heal mistakes, or create short opening windows. Scouting support is also valuable on exploration routes because Dagger already clears small encounters quickly.
